OKU

I went to the Boot Camp class on Monday. On the schedule, it was supposed to be Body Attack class but somehow the fitness studio made a last minute changes. As I was already there clad in my Adidas track and Nike trainers, I thought to myself,

"Hey, what the heck. Lets give boot camp class a try. I did try various yoga disciplines and pilates before. I mean, how hard can it be, right?"

WRONG

I cheated throughout the class. I did only 16 repetition of lunges instead of 32, 20 push-ups instead of 40 and I skipped hardcore bridging by bending my knees.

I am so ashamed.

Half way through the class, I secretly vowed not to eat Big Mac again.

Trivia: Did you know that the total calories for Big Mac is about 600 kcal? And you burn only 150kcal for 15-20min jog at the rate of 7 km/h? That's only the size of a cupcake!

And with the double everything promotion that they're having right now, I wonder how much is the calorie? And more importantly, how many hours of exercising you have to spend to shed it all off? Crazy, I tell you.

And the best part after all the sweat and tears, I bumped into my fiance. Waiting at my car wanting me to join him for a drink with our friend and his date at..............................................

STARBUCK'S and ordered a frappucino with whipped cream!

I hate you fiance.

T_T

It's been three days since Monday and I'm still limping. Like literally. I had muscles pain all over which freaks me out since I've been exercising regularly since I joined the gym.

Going up and down the stairs has been my biggest challenge so far. It also does not help when you drive a manual. It's like adding salt to the wound.

Safe to say, I have new sympathy for the disables.

Ok, that sounds painful. And extremely exhausting. Which gym would this be at? I mean, not the location la.. Like True Fitness ke apa ke?

Calories? Oh yes, they're hiding everywhere. On a diet, a woman should not take more than 1200calories a day. So with that Big Mac packing 600calories, Coke at 290calories and the large fries clocking in at 500calories; a complete meal at McDonald's pretty much means you've had your TOTAL calories for one day in one meal. And I too don't want to know the number of calories in their new double meals.

And yes, climbing stairs is always the worst part. You feel more like succumbing to the stairs and just rolling down on your way down.

it's true fitness taipan. yes, my PT also said the same thing. 1 "value meal" at McD equals to total calories for THE WHOLE DAY. but the warning didnt last long. HA HA HA. after that boot camp and muscles pain i've endured for the past 3 days, safe to say big mac is way out of my reach for at least 8 months.

I like this phrase "I had muscles pain all over which freaks me out since I've been exercising regularly since I joined the gym" especially the word "regularly" coz i just learned that once a week is considered as regular :P
