Mengomel

Tetiba terasa nak mengomel. Ok, now I'm renting one of the room in one of the apartment unit in Court 6. One of my housemate is moving out this coming December and nak tak nak we have to find a replacement for her. Ok fine lah kan, nak buat macam mana dia dah kahwin. We, the other housemate pun iklankanlah bilik tu. Then I got calls from 3 potential tenants, one wants to rent with her friend, but we only want one person in one room. One is a single mother with 6-months old child and one is Chinese girl. Frankly, I have no specific criteria for the housemate lah. But she must be responsible, practise good hygiene, and have a pleasant personality. If we can get along that would be a bonus. So, this housemate of mine is very rigid, like very der rigid ok! And pembersih tahap dewa langit kelapan. Serious, tak tipu. When I told her that these three people are interested in the room, dia cakap no Chinese, and no baby. Ok baby tu I understand la nanti nangis or anything kitorg jugak susah. Wanna know her reason for no Chinese?....

Nanti bawak masuk makanan tak halal aka babi. And geli nak share toilet and bathroom lepas tu. I was like WTF??!! Gimme concrete reason la weh. Reason bapak bongok punya racist macam tu tak boleh terima la. So me being very direct, I said to her; Kak A**, tu public toilet tu macam mana boleh share pulak? Lagi lah ntah sapa2 guna. Boleh je cakap dekat the girl no pork is allowed in the house. Nak tau dia cakap apa? Ala, itu dah darurat..

Darurat wtf..

I cakap la that my tolerance level is high, since one of my housemate masa duduk Frankfurt is a Turkish guy and a Mongolian girl. Then this Kak A** pun cakap lah, itu darurat takpe dia pun pernah tinggal oversea duduk dengan orang bangsa lain, terpaksa nak buat macam mana. Seriously, I don't understand her kind of thinking. And I really feel like nak menjawab kaw-kaw punya tapi don't want to sebab nanti gaduh. Dia boleh cakap if I insist on letting non-Malay rents the room, dia terpaksa keluar dari rumah sebab tak selesa.

PM sibuk-sibuk nak 1Malaysia tapi rakyat punya mentaliti still ditakuk lama. Macam mana nak maju kalau nak duduk dan bergaul dengan bangsa sendiri je? Kenapa nak fikir and take notice of the bangsa? I prefer we take the person as s/he is. Macamlah nanti bila mati, malaikat Munkar Nangkir tu tanya, apa bangsa kamu? Cuba tengok keadaan politik(us) Malaysia sekarang ni? Kucar-kacir sebab pasal bangsa. Melayu nak ini, Cina nak ini, India nak itu. Can we just forget about the race and focus on a bigger picture like, unity ke?

Ok, I digress. And just now, the chinese girl called. It's heart-breaking and trying not sounded like a racist, I told her that although I have absolutely nothing against living with other races, my housemate is. Sekarang kena carik orang lain! Benci! Maybe it's time to move out as suggested by bf? Tapi the thoughts of pindah and kemas barang tu sangatlah membebankan.
