Lagi 4 hari before Christmas. Not that I'm celebrating, I just looking forward to public holiday and series of movies on tv. And pay-day. And shopping day. And that discounted Hush Puppies 450 thread count bed sheet at Living Quarters at 70% off its price. And that Akemi bed sheet too. And McCall Winter Edition Ballerina of Crocs, that I used to diss so much. Arrggh.

This is totally cliche but towards the end of the year, without fail we're always asked of what our resolution for the new year. For the year 2010, mine would be:-

1. To save more and spend less. Kata nak beli rumah sebelum umur 30, but at the rate (of shopping) that I'm going, macam mana? Umur dah 40 pun belum tentu dapat beli pondok. Haish.
2. To exercise constantly, eat healthy and finally lose the extra flab of fat that pooches out from the midsection-area.
3. To get another job that not only suit my qualification, it also pays more.
4. To be a better muslim, better daughter, better girlfriend and a better human being.
5. To be more open and embrace the fact that babies or kids aren't nuisance. This resolution deserve and entry of its own. Will blog more on this.

5 je? Cukuplah kot. Azam banyak-banyak tapi tak tercapai pun tak guna jugak, idak?

Antara Beg Camelia Dan Beg Moose

I read Reena's post on EH! Chic party and realized that the Chanel bag Camelia's toting is the same as mine!

See? sama kan? I can't clarify on the authencity of my bag though as I bought it at a flea market in Frankfurt. On the inside it says, "Chanel" and "Made in France" but this of course can be untrue.

Of Harper's Bazaar and KJ

I was at the MPH yesterday for my monthly kick of amazing editorial photo shoot in the magazines that available for some free reading. It's a past time habit that I picked up for the last past years. Every time when my craving for shopping arises, I'd rush to the book store and flick through pages and pages of magazines such as Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar. Their editorial fashion spread never fail to impress me especially Vogue; be it American, French or German Vogue. So yesterday, I was browsing through the latest Harper's Bazaar (cover: Stephanie Chai)



and when I flipped over at the back, I saw a familiar face. A young politician to be exact; it's our own Khairy Jamaluddin on the cover of the inaugural issue of Harper's Bazaar Man!




He looks not bad right? I never knew that politician can be this polish and fashionable (and good looking). Honestly how many politician that we know are sharp, fashionable and good looking? Ok, J.F. Kennedy was an exception. We just love Jackie O. So just to be clear, I don't fancy KJ (or his political views) or anything ok! I'm not finish with the magazine yet but I love love the Fall/Winter ad campaigns of Fendi (feat. Jessica Stam-if I'm not mistaken), Tod's (the bag featured in the ad is TDF!, like totally) and I know this is not something new, the Louis Vuitton ad featuring Buzz Aldrin, Sally Ride and Jim Lovell. Love love the photo (and the bag featured as well).



It was taken by the famous Anne Leibovitz, a name that needs no introduction. If anyone of you didn't know, she was the one who took the infamous Demi Moore naked photo while she was pregnant with one of her daughters.

And yes, out of blue I also bought a malay wedding magazine *cringe* that costs me about 3 copies of Harper's Bazaar that turned out to be so crappy. I don't like 80% of the bridal wear featured except those from Jovian Mandagie. The pelamin or dais are either too much, too eleborate, too colourful, too much of accessories. All in all they are nothing but over the top. I don't see the the need of buying such magazine in the future. Plus, the price is also expensive! I'd rather spend the same amount of money on Vogue or Elle, which in terms of photo and overall content are much much higher in quality.

The talented director, Yasmin Ahmad passed away at 11.15 pm yesterday after 3 days in coma.


Raya, Deepavali, Chinese New Year commercial break will never be the same from now on.


I'll be missing you (and your heart touching commercials).

Semoga roh beliau dicucuri rahmat oleh Allah S.W.T dan ditempatkan dikalangan hambanya yang beriman.

Yasmin Ahmad collapsed on stage during a presentation at TV3. She's now in critical condition and currently on life support. She might had stroke.

Heard the news on FlyFm few minutes ago..


Hate her or love her, please pray for her and hope for the best.

Shocking News

Michael Jackson, 50 died on Thursday because of cardiac arrest.

I'll always remember you as a great singer/performer who awed me with the moonwalk dance moves and your face-changing effects in Black or White (pun not intended) music video many many years ago.


May you rest in peace.

Oh my dear Brit, (can I call you Brit btw?) It is fascinating how you've turned from:

and after the all parties with Miss Paris 'heiress-no-more' Hilton clan in Hollywood came to no success, you decided to attempt suicide? Furthermore checked yourself out from psychiatric ward after only a week treatment when you supposed to be there for 2 weeks?



What were you thinking Brit? Go and checked yourself in rehab or something, isn't it trend right now? Everybody in Hollywood is doing it, go honey. Even Miss Winehouse who once firmly said "They tried to make me go to rehab and I say No,No,No" are saying "Yes,Yes,Yes" right now. Go now before it's too late.


Lesson learned: You can acted (or be) like a crack but make sure you leave your house with cute shoes on. Yes, Brit, I'm all green. I.Want.Your.Shoes.

Mia Farrow-Rosemary's Baby

I watched Rosemary's Baby last night. For like 10 minutes. I hate to admit this but I can be a scared kitty cat sometimes and it was 2 o' clock in the morning, are you kidding me? Set that aside, it was long enough for me to adore Mia Farrow. And the pixie hair cut. Oh the hair cut.

Ever watch America's Next Top Model (ANTM)? A show that most of the tittle winner never really made it to the top (in the business,that is). Nevertheless, I love watching it, but hate the unnecessary cat fight. OK enough.

Where was I again? Oh, ANTM, yes. In Cycle 5 the makeover, a girl was eliminated just because she hates the idea of cutting her long beauty pageant mane into cute pixie ala Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby. Stupid bitch. Sorry. If I were to look this pretty whilst carrying a Satan's baby, I don't mind. Feed me those charred steaks. Ahm..




Love the dress too! If I'm not mistaken Kylie Minogue was spotted having the same hair style sometime after her chemotherapy. But I like Mia's more.





I think I should add Mia Farrow into my list, next to Audrey Hepburn.

When A Star Falls Down (In Fashion)

Well, where shall I begin first? I know there's a lot (by a lot I mean rrreeeaaallyy A LOT) of things going on over Miss Malaysian Sweetheart over here. First, the lacey head scarf thingy on the head. I'm really interested to know which magazine did she flipped through and got her so inspired about. Come to think about it, maybe she's trying to potrait this but not quite get it?

Prada Spring/Summer 07

Oh you poor little thing! Let me tell you something, everything that looks good on the fashion magazine be it Vogue, Elle, Vanity Fair or whatever doesn't mean that it will always works on you. Now that the basic that everyone should know is cleared up, let's move on to the next topic, shall we? I actually like the blouse that she's wearing although it's satin and shiny but it looks great on her. So nothing about the shirt. Now this is the part where I enjoy the most. This is where the real deal takes place. How do I say it without sounding like a bitch? I guess there's no way I wouldn't sound like a bitch, am I? It's a satin, wrinkly and high-waisted pant! It's like 3 in 1 instant coffee or something, but not in a good way, of course. And since she's quite heavy on the down side, the pant only make it worse, satin(y) material will magnify the thighs like no other! Seriously, it's hard to pull it off unless you have a fab body like Agyness Deyn or hard flat stomach like Jessica Alba (she could pull anything off!) or skinny legs like those models have, but having a body that, uuhh-uh no way Jose. And wait, did I spot *clearing throat* a camel toe there underneath all those wrinkles at the crotch?

You see, she talented and lovely but this girl desperately needs a stylist or maybe reading Rachel Zoe's Style From A To Zoe between those break session would help?
